About Our Organization
Shine A Light On Autism has been working in the local community over the past few years to bring awareness of autism and to provide recreational and educational opportunities to all special needs children and their families.
Our annual Lighthouse Challenge event returns on Saturday, April 29th this year. Our first climb begins at 8:00 am. With the help of Hannibal Regional Medical Group, we'll be providing a free carnival for any children in attendance. Register online or mail a printable application along with payment to reserve your spot.
The Marion County Ambulance District is launching a new program, called S.T.A.R.S. (Special Needs Tracking and Awareness Response System), and is seeking cooperation from the parents and caretakers of local Special Needs children ages 0-18. Learn more
Shine A Light On Autism would like to extend a huge Thank You to the Reidel Foundation and F&M Bank for the approval of our $7,200 grant request. This money will be used to fund upcoming Sensory Sensitive Movie Showings that are free for all who attend and 4 pool parties for all of our friends at The Hannibal Community Pool next summer. We are so thankful for our local community's support.
